New
York is the fashion capital of the world and twice a year fashion week brings
everyone together from around the world to celebrate. It is a major coveted
event; fashion shows are invitation only, the most beautiful models walk the
runway and the front rows are adorned only with top celebrities and editors
getting a privileged sneak peek on what we will all being buying in the near
future.
Spring
2014 is a mixed bag of very girly fashion and I love that! Fitted tops, long
jackets wide leg pants are making a
comeback and skinny cropped pants are still going strong. Pretty dresses; long
and flowy (yay, my favorite!) and fun short ones are all the rage. Marc by Marc
Jacobs line is “Sixties-style with a Nineties sensibility”. No surprise white is
strong, so girly, ethereal, clean and classic. Floral prints are walking the
runway and flower hair accessories, big and small. Bright color lips, hair
parted in the middle and big necklaces are some of the other trends you might
want to get a jump on. I love that I can
buy a few new pieces and mix them in with my already over packed closet.
Whatever your style is there is something new for you to add to your collection
and put a new trendy twist on it.
But really, I haven't
even thought about winter yet, especially on this hot in the city
day.
I
am not ready to wear boots, sweaters and
coats…lol!!!
