Grace and Hermès: Fashion at its BEST!

The timeless Grace Kelly was a beautiful Oscar-winning actress, fashion icon, and princess of Monaco. By far to me she is the ultimate beauty from head to toe especially when it comes to her impeccable, simple fashion sense. In 1956, a photo of Grace Kelly, (who had become the new Princess of Monaco) carrying the Sac à dépêches bag to shield her pregnant stomach from the paparazzi became a phenomenon. Pictures of her covering her belly with her Hermès bag were splashed all over the world and made it onto the cover of Life magazine. The company, more like the public renamed it the "Kelly Bag" and it became one of the most coveted bags in the history of Hermès.

A fun little fashion fact: Grace Kelly once used an Hermès scarf as a sling for her broken arm.
