Casa Chiarella sustained some nasty damage, with a hole in the roof and a chimney that's about 3 feet shorter than it was 10 days ago. Insurance adjusters swarmed the neighborhood and quickly authorized emergency repairs, helped get an army of tree cutters and giant trucks from Michigan to come to Queens and get all these fallen trees out of the way. We thank every single person who worked day and night to restore power and repair the broken windows and roofs that came from this storm.
