I am posting this on behalf of Chicklet. Our little 'yorkeranian' loves the outdoors, and one of her favorite walks is along the shoreline of little neck bay. It has been cold enough for a large part of the bay to freeze over, and there was an ice sheet from bayside to douglaston. When the tide comes in, the ice along the shore breaks into chunks, they look like little icebergs. Chicklet loves exploring these mysteries of nature, and spent an hour or so watching them come in and go out again.That would have been the end of it if WNBC news wasn't having a "send in your weather photo" promotion, how could this not be a natural for them.
Sure enough, the weather producer picked her photo out of the hundreds they get every day, and my good friend Janice Huff did the reporting. The result, as they say, speaks for itself. Can you imagine, our doggy on channel 4 - the phone did not stop ringing as friends and family all called the moment they saw the piece. If you like these, check out chicklet beast over at youtube.
